Software Engineer
Overall pretty straight forward. Had a few rounds to work through but questions were thorough and fair. Interviewers seemed knowledgable. I never felt like i received an unfair question, but the conversation did occasionally sidetrack.
- Can you talk about ways to optimize latency or deal with performance problems in a big system?
Software Engineer Intern
It was a really laid-back experience and everyone was great. This was my first internship interview, and I genuinely liked going through it. I got an offer even without prior experience, just with some decent projects and a solid grasp of OOP concepts, git, and data structures.
- Can you explain the difference between an abstract class and an interface?
Software Engineer
So basically, I first chatted with two software engineers from DataScan. Then, we went over the projects I listed on my resume, and they asked me to dive deep into the specifics of those projects. At the end, they opened it up for me to ask them any questions I had.
- What was your team's process for completing this project?
