First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DataScan.
Data Scientist
The interview was set up simply and conducted online. They asked me basic questions about my knowledge and background. It was a straightforward process.
- Can you tell us about your knowledge base?
- Could you share some details about your background?
Software Engineer
Overall pretty straight forward. Had a few rounds to work through but questions were thorough and fair. Interviewers seemed knowledgable. I never felt like i received an unfair question, but the conversation did occasionally sidetrack.
- Can you talk about ways to optimize latency or deal with performance problems in a big system?
Data Analyst
After applying, there's a review of your application, then an initial screening. This is followed by one or more interviews, which could be over the phone, video, or in person. You might also have skill assessments before they make a final decision and let you know if you got the job or not.
- Can you explain what Machine learning techniques are?
Field Representative
There were two interviews. The first was a phone call, and the second was in person with the direct supervisor. They gave me a lot of details about the job during the second interview. It was pretty average in terms of how hard the interview was.
- Tell me about your past experience that relates to this opening.
