Sales
You'll talk to 5-7 people. The language might not be your native one, but they won't check your language skills. The Customer Success Director is super important in deciding, but ultimately the VP makes the final call.
- Tell me about yourself, your accomplishments, and can you demo their product?
Sales
It was pretty haphazard. Interview slots and times kept changing last minute. After the phone interview, you'd get called in for a couple of interviews with your line manager and likely an executive from the US. Expect these confirmations really late, subject to immediate change, and you'll probably have to chase them for info. They don't respect your time. And when it's all done, they refuse to give any feedback. On the bright side, they hire a lot of graduates. I wouldn't bother with this company, they act like they're better than everyone but their performance doesn't show it.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Sales
Had 4 interviews lined up: 1 phone chat with the recruiter, another phone call with the Director of Corporate Security / Sales, and then 2 in-person interviews with other team folks. This was honestly one of the most unprofessional interview processes I've ever been through. Turns out I was way overqualified and they couldn't match my salary expectations, even though I'd been upfront about them and was told I was within their range. They originally scheduled 4 on-site interviews, but then faked this whole "all hands meeting" thing and sent me packing halfway through, without giving a real reason other than the fake meeting. Later, I found out through my recruiter that they thought I wasn't a "cultural fit." Honestly, no matter what the interviewers thought, they could have just been upfront, shaken my hand, and told me I wasn't a good cultural fit. It was a total waste of my time. Really unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful, and cowardly.
- Can you tell me about your general sales background?
- What types of products have you sold?
- How frequently do you prospect?
