Recruiter
As a Recruiter, I truly appreciated how the team made my interview process so smooth. I arrived on Thursday, but because of a baggage issue, I missed my original in-person interview time. The team was really flexible and stayed an extra hour so they could still meet me. After my in-person interviews, I had calls with some hiring managers I would be working with. Then, I had a final call with the CSO, Peter. The communication was excellent, I always knew where I stood, and I felt like a great fit for the team. I'm thrilled to be joining a team that values candidates as individuals.

Interviewing with Dataminr was a smooth and pleasant experience. It took a little under a month to hear from the company after I applied online. After that, the process took two weeks and consisted of one phone interview and two in-person interviews. In addition to specifically understanding my experience, every interviewer also wanted to get to know me as a person. The team was very transparent about the nature of the role and its specific challenges and timeline. I received an offer the day after interviewing with two executives. The team and hiring manager were very patient with me as I considered offers from other companies. I was ultimately drawn to Dataminr because of the caliber of people, the product, and tremendous growth opportunity, so I was happy to accept.
- Can you walk me through your background and explain your reasons for seeking a new opportunity?
- What about Dataminr appeals to you?
- Can you share specific examples from your experience?

I applied online and heard back for a phone screen in the same week. The interviewer was nice and talked about what they were looking for and the company. They scheduled an on-site for the next week. I met some new recruiters who were cool and the VP of People, but then the Recruiting Manager came in with a bad attitude and didn't seem interested. It left a bad impression, and I had another job lined up anyway.
