Sales
The interview process was great and really fast! I enjoyed meeting everyone and had good conversations. But then there was radio silence and I got ghosted. I’ve never experienced this before. I made it to the final stages, and I understand some applicants might be a better match, but I wish they would let me know instead of leaving me hanging.
- Can you describe your previous work experience?
- What are your methods for staying organized?
- How do you prioritize and manage incoming requests?
Inside Sales Representative
I applied on their website. After two weeks, I followed up via email and was contacted by the sales manager, which was unusual as it's typically the recruiter. It was a great conversation because the manager was looking to build a sales team and was very pleasant. The next step was a Skype interview with the recruiter, which felt like a standard interview and went well. Then, I was asked to prepare a case study, which I did a week later, and it also went very well. I then contacted the sales manager and recruiter to inquire about the next steps, but they couldn't hire more people at that moment.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in App Annie?
- Could you share more about yourself?
- What are your understandings of this role?
Sales
Recruiters were responsive and seemed to try hard. However, some parts of the process felt like they were just for show and unnecessary, like the homework assignment which was time-consuming and labor-intensive. It's unclear if all roles have this, but it should be consistent. It seems like they're copying big tech companies instead of developing their own meaningful process.
- Were there any surprises during the interview?
