Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dassault Systèmes.
Inside Sales
It was a 5-stage process. First, I had an interview with the talent recruiter. They ask about your experiences and motivations, and if they think you fit the profile, you move on. Second, an interview with the team manager. This is a conversation about the candidate, but they also explain how the team works, and it's a great chance to ask questions. The third step was another chat with the talent manager, who asked more in-depth questions than the first interview. Then, they asked me to do an English test before a final interview with the sales director.
- Could you detail your professional experiences and the metrics you used to achieve, as well as what was expected in previous jobs?
- Were you comfortable going into the office at least 3 days a week, as it's mandatory?
Sales Representative
The interview process felt off, like they weren't serious about filling the role. The first question was about a skill not even on the job description, even though I met most requirements. It felt more like an interrogation, and the interviewer's questions were mumbled and unclear, jumping between unrelated points. The interview ended quickly, despite my decent answers. It seemed like they were just going through the motions for a position they had no intention of filling, possibly just to gather market data.
- How would you handle a situation where you're lacking a particular skill?
Sales Support
The interview process involved 3 interviews in total for this internship position: one phone call, one HR interview, and one Sales manager interview. These interviews took place at the headquarters in Vélizy. The interviewers were very pleasant and focused on the 'fit' between the candidate and the company. They were genuinely interested in the candidate's background and needs, and if necessary, would guide them towards other offers that better matched their profile.
