Javascript Developer
My interview experience was good. The first round was an MCQ test covering aptitude and basic JavaScript concepts. Then, I had a virtual interview with the product lead, followed by a face-to-face interview at the office. I felt I did well in all rounds, but I'm not sure why I was rejected. I was expecting questions on standard JavaScript topics like currying, event bubbling, hoisting, and implicit/explicit binding, but none of those were asked.
- Can you explain pass by value and pass by reference in JavaScript?
- What are JavaScript oops concepts?
- Tell me about prototypes in JavaScript.
Javascript Developer
the interview process was pretty straightforward. there were four stages in total. first, an online test with programming and output questions. second, a technical interview focusing on programming and basic concepts. third, another technical interview with programming and output questions. finally, a behavioral interview.
- What's the difference between call, bind, and apply?
- Can you explain closures in JavaScript?
- What is hoisting?
Javascript Developer
I was given a real-world scenario and a specific requirement, then asked to build a solution with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I had to figure out the problem, plan the structure, and then implement the functionality. This task checked my ability to turn requirements into a working UI and also my coding, problem-solving, and time management skills. I finished the solution by making sure it was responsive and had clean code.
