I applied through the DS website and heard back from the hiring manager a few weeks later. They scheduled a phone interview where they asked about my background and experience with DS software, plus some technical questions. After that, I had an in-person interview at the DS site. The next step was a 40-minute presentation about my past work and simulation projects, which was attended by 4-6 senior simulation engineers. They asked me questions about my work, but it wasn't too hard. I also had lunch with the hiring manager, and he was really nice. The last part was an HR interview on the same day as the technical interview. The HR questions were mostly behavioral, like asking me to describe a situation where... I got an offer a few weeks later.

First, we check your resume to make sure you meet the basic requirements. Then, we'll do a phone interview to ask some initial questions and see how you communicate. If that goes well, we'll invite you for an in-person or virtual interview where we'll ask a mix of behavioral and technical questions, and you can ask us about the job. We also do a reference check before deciding, to confirm your skills and experience. If you pass everything, we'll make you a job offer, assuming background checks and drug tests are clear.
