It was a 3 stage process. First a call with HR, then with management. I made it to the second round, but the interviewers were kinda weird. The start felt awkward and their questions had no clear structure. They asked a lot of high-level, specific questions that didn't seem to match the job description. I thought it would be more about me, my experience, and why I wanted to join the company. Towards the end, it felt like an interrogation.

Technical Behavioral Case

So for Darktrace, you start with a recruiter call, then there's a technical discussion about the SOC, then they'll give you some scenarios for threat analysis. After that, it's a culture fit chat, and then a final interview with a manager. They really want to see if you can think analytically, communicate well, have real security experience, and if you're on the same page with what they expect.

Behavioral Technical

I had a 30-minute virtual meeting with the recruiter, which was pretty standard with the usual questions. I guess I used other interviews to prep for this. No technical questions were asked, beyond what I already knew about Cyber Security. The technical interview was supposed to be next, but I didn't get to that part and never found out why.
