Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Darktrace.
Business Development Representative
Had 3 interviews, some with role playing. You need to prepare for this job or you won't get it. I had a good experience with the team even though I didn't get the job. They do give opportunities to people who really want it.
- Where do you see yourself in the next 2-5 years?
Business Development Representative
The interview process involved four stages: a recruiter call, a meeting with the BD Manager, a peer interview, and a final presentation to the Director. Overall, the process was smooth, and the hiring managers were very respectful, making me feel comfortable to perform my best.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What were your responsibilities in your past positions?
- What qualities do you believe are essential for a sales or BDR role?
Business Development Representative
I was asked to pitch the product. Generally, the interviews were vague with junior people, and then there was one senior person at the end. Ultimately, I declined their offer. I didn't get a great impression of the culture from the interview process, and it was unclear what the day-to-day role would look like.
- Could you pitch Darktrace to me as if I were a prospect?
