I interviewed with an agency for a Senior Executive Assistant role. I met with multiple executives, including the one I'd be working for. I also had to interview with two junior admins who wouldn't be working directly with me. Even though I met with everyone multiple times, I was rejected because of feedback from the junior admins, not the executives. They said they don't think I'd be happy there long-term, which I find odd since they can't decide that for me. The executive was great to talk to, but my gut feeling after meeting the junior folks was that I was too experienced, and maybe they felt that too. Their explanation for not hiring me was really disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend this company for support roles. HR should train their interviewers to avoid giving candidates a bad impression of the company.

The interview process was nice. First, I had a call with HR. Then I met with the person leaving the role and the manager I would support. We mostly talked about the company's culture and how it works across its different business units, and they asked about my past work and experience.

The recruiter/hiring manager was impossible to follow-up with. They would reach out for your availability then not respond to confirm until several attempts. After taking the time to video interview and after next steps were articulated, in following up and expressing interest, the recruiter was again not responsive. They seem like time wasters, don't apply.
