Interview was fair and a good process. Connected with interviewer about passions and explained how I would benefit the community at DKC and what my background in PR and interest in the entertainment industry would bring to the table.

The people were friendly and asked good questions. If you're in PR, I'd suggest going in with solid media knowledge. They'll ask detailed questions about your past roles and accomplishments, so be sure to explain those well.

I had a really mixed experience interviewing for this role. The team seemed a bit arrogant and very particular about the answers they were looking for, pushing hard to get candidates to their desired solution. They gave me a creative assignment to complete. After that, I went to their office for an in-person interview where we discussed the assignment. Instead of asking about my creative process, they grilled me until I arrived at the 'creative' solution they had in mind. It felt like they wanted creativity, but only if it matched their existing team views. It's discouraging to be asked to be creative and put effort into a project, only to have your input disregarded. They mentioned they'd get back to me the following week after I completed a few more interviews, but it's been three weeks with no response, and my follow-up emails have been ignored. What was odd was that HR wasn't involved; I was in direct contact with the team lead, which felt a bit awkward. Overall, it was a frustrating and unprofessional experience with DKC, and I felt disrespected throughout.

The interview process was pretty good overall, though I did get ghosted after the second round. It was a bummer because I really wanted the job and put in a lot of extra effort just to get the interview. I thought it was a good sign that I made it pretty far, but after two weeks and three follow-ups, I got the message. The team seemed cool, and the interview itself was pretty straightforward.
