After the resume screening, there was an aptitude test. Then came three rounds of case interviews. The cases were about the social sector and were similar to the company's projects. The whole process was very long, taking over 3 months. The interviewers were nice and the interviews were interesting. But, they didn't stick to their own timelines, which was frustrating. They took about a month to reply after each round, although HR was communicative and sent emails every couple of weeks. The long duration made the experience negative.

So I applied for this Associate Consultant / Consultant job at Dalberg's Bogotá office. The process started okay, my CV got shortlisted and I had to do this one-way video interview on Spark Hire. The questions were pretty standard, like about motivation, experience, and some hypothetical stuff. But honestly, the format felt really limiting, you know? No real chance to chat. Plus, I had a technical issue with my mic during the recording, which was super exhausting. After I sent it in, I didn't hear anything personalized, just a generic rejection email about two weeks later. I get that they need to be efficient, but a little human touch, even at the beginning, would have been nice, especially for a company that talks about inclusion and respect. I still really like Dalberg's mission though. Just wish the candidate experience felt more empathetic and responsive like they promote externally.
