First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Daily Harvest.
Retoucher
First, there was a recruiter screening call. It was a bit weird because what I told the recruiter didn't seem to be passed on to the next person. Then, the interviewer went over the job requirements. I asked a few follow-up questions, but they weren't very friendly, seeming annoyed to have to interview me. I never heard back or got an offer. The job itself seemed straightforward and typical for a retoucher role.
- Have you had prior experience with large-format print work, such as billboards?
Sales Manager
I really enjoyed interviewing for the Associate Sales Manager role at Daily Harvest. From the very first message, communication was clear and fast. I always knew what to expect and when to expect it. They were quick to schedule the interviews, getting me through the first two rounds in just a week! I definitely recommend interviewing here. The recruiter was very nice and the Director I spoke with was engaging, making it feel more like a chat than an interview. I got a good feel for the company culture and it seems like a great place to work.
- Can you describe a time you resolved a conflict with a customer?
Consumer Insights Researcher
This was one of the best interview processes I've ever had!! I never review companies on LinkedIn but I was so grateful for the in-depth feedback I received on my project I had to give them a shout-out! I have always received generic responses like "we went with a different candidate", but the talent acquisition associate was very thorough and pointed out specific things that I could've done differently to pass. Interviewing is never fun, but I thoroughly enjoyed the process and will certainly be applying again to Daily Harvest in the future!
- Can you share an instance where you were instrumental in developing customer segments?
Product Manager
The whole process was pretty fast at first. Applied, then got a phone screen two days later, followed by a phone interview the next day. Then, a 3-person panel interview the week after. I tried my best to work with my schedule since it seemed like DH wanted to hire quickly. After that 3-person panel, HR went quiet for 2 weeks before calling me in for an in-person panel interview. They said I'd hear back by the beginning of the next week (it was a Thursday). I followed up a few times but never got a response for over 6 weeks. Maybe they do this so the new hire is settled before telling others, but it felt rude. Everyone I talked to, including HR, was really nice, but given the communication issues, I'm actually glad I didn't get the job.
- Could you introduce yourself?
