It was over the phone and then we did an online assessment. The process was easy and they just asked about past experience. The people were friendly and had no high expectations from the candidates. Overall easy entry.

The first step was a test administered on mettl.com. After that, there was a group discussion which had two parts. The first part checked fundamental 10+2 level knowledge, covering topics from Class 12 physics and introductory mechanical engineering subjects. The second part focused on HVAC basics, including questions about psychrometry, refrigeration and air conditioning fundamentals, and the chemical makeup of refrigerants like R32 and R410a. The entire test seemed straightforward, though I'm unsure if there was negative marking.

I was applying for pre-doctoral internships and had interviews at a few agencies. One of them was really bad: they gave me only 2 days to get to an interview that was a plane ride or a 6-hour drive away, or I would lose the chance. I managed to make it work. I got there early, but it took time to find the right office in a huge building. The waiting area had no receptionist, so I rang the bell. When the receptionist came back, they were rude and gave me forms to fill out (which were bad copies). All the info they wanted was already on the online application, but whatever. I finished the forms with 10 minutes to spare. Then I wasn't seen until 45 minutes after my scheduled time, with no explanation or apology. The CEO asked me if I spoke Spanish three times, even though it was in my application. She also spent half the interview telling me how to act and asked personal questions about my family and religion. The other interviewer seemed uncomfortable and tried to ask real questions. The CEO never pronounced my name right and I never got to ask questions about the agency or what I'd be doing. The room was also too hot and sunny.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • How are you? The interviewer reads every bullet point on my resume and asks questions about them. The conversation is comfortable and interesting.
