Communications Specialist
Almost 10 weeks and 3 interviews later (plus a task to develop a comms plan), I received an offer in June. After a few back and forths about the salary, they RESCINDED the offer and refused to provide any details. Plus I later found out that they stood up one of my references with no apology.
- How do you inspire younger colleagues?
Communications Manager
The interview process was intense, involving written, oral, and an in-house meeting with stakeholders. It took roughly three months from application to the final offer. Most of the team was already hired, and the Communications staff were brought in towards the end.
- Describe your communications strategies and approaches for engaging various stakeholders throughout the agriculture value chain.
Communications Specialist
After applying, I had a 30-minute phone interview about 3 weeks later. They mostly asked about my past communications experience, asking specific questions about my resume, and why I wanted to work on this project. A few days later, they contacted me to set up an in-person interview and a writing test. When I went to the office, they asked more questions about my past experiences. The writing test involved summarizing a USAID report.
- Can you share an instance from a previous role where you had suggestions for improvement but couldn't implement them?
- Tell me about your prior experience in communications.
- What makes you want to join this particular project?
