It was a pretty standard interview process. First, I talked to one of the sales managers. If that went well, I then moved on to speak with the VP. They asked me typical sales-type questions, like STAR questions, and it was super important to know my numbers. My interview was before COVID, so I'm not totally sure how they do things now, but given that we moved to virtual during the pandemic and never really went back to the office full-time, I'd guess it's virtual these days.

I was contacted by a recruiter and asked to come in for a short interview in the local office. The first part of the interview seems to be a little bit of a cattle call process. There were at least 4 people waiting for interviews in the short time I was there. I interviewed with a recruiter and a manager for about 30 minutes, basically going over my previous experience. Within 2 days, I received a call from the recruiter asking me to come back for another interview and a short ride along with one of the account managers. The manager I was supposed to interview with on that day said she was busy and I was still going to do the ride along and I would be contacted later. The ride along consisted of watching a representative make calls for about an hour and then we did a few office visits. Nothing was expected or required except to observe.

They do basic HR questions about your past sales achievements, goals, and planning, which is pretty standard for sales roles. The company organization is really good, though they're still building things up in Houston, while San Antonio is more established. They'll go over your typical sales schedule, commission plan, and any draws. Make sure to read everything CAREFULLY because there's a 2-year non-compete clause. Also, be aware that the expected hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. This is pretty tough unless you live very close by and have no other commitments. Overall, it's a decent place to work if you can get a spot at one of the more established downtown locations. Good luck!
