You submit your application online, they contact you and give you a date to interview you and also to give a demo class. In the interview they ask you things like your availability to teach, how many classes you will teach per day and what experience you have teaching, they explain how to use the platform

So, growing up, technology was always my thing. I was always tinkering with electronics at home, like the computer and printer. This is how I started to figure out errors and fixes. That's why I went for a Bachelor of Computer Science degree because I loved tech so much. Then I started looking for jobs where I could fix computers. Pretty soon after, I landed my first job where I could actually learn and grow by repairing computers.

The recruiter's English was poor and she rushed through the interview. I practiced the mock slides thoroughly and prepared everything to perfection beforehand. I was offered zero feedback during the interview but I felt it couldn't have gone better as I was experienced, fully qualified and have a bubbly personality and love teaching kids. 2 days later I received an email written in very poor English to inform me that I "did not fit well enough" for the position and they failed to provide any feedback as to why. I am very disappointed with with how I have been treated by Dadaabc, considering the huge effort I put in to preparing for this mock class as it was a requirement to have an educational background plus teaching props and the right coloured clothing. Based on my experience I don't recommend applying to this company.

They emailed me saying I was eligible to interview. I don't remember when I applied. I picked a time slot for 9:30pm because the interviewer is in China. She showed up 4 minutes late and was very dry. She asked some basic questions. She was not impressed that I wasn't wearing blue, which is their color, but I was actually teaching for VK and had on my black sweater that I turned around to hide their logo. She also didn't like my background, which is colorful and I've never had issues with it at other jobs. So it didn't start off great. Then came the demo portion. You do two demos: the first 5 minutes is for new to English students and the second 5 minutes is for intermediate level. I tried to get her to interact with me as the pretend student, but she just sat there. She mentioned that most students don't react, but this is actually unusual because I already teach online and it's not as common as she claims. I don't expect an offer, and I'm okay with that.
