Had a phone screen where they asked why D.A. Davidson and why the industry group I was interested in, plus more info about the firm. Then there was a second round with standard behavioral and technical questions. Haven't heard back after the second round. They were hiring for multiple locations, so I think the next step would have been a superday.

The interview process was pretty standard for investment banking. It kicked off with a recruiter phone screen that was super technical. Then, there were two more phone interviews, also very technical, with an associate and a VP. After that, I had a behavioral interview with a director. About two weeks after the first call, I got an Excel and Word assignment to show my modeling and writing skills, which I had to submit within 24 hours. A few days later, I was invited for Super Day. It started at 8 am with a one-hour finance and Excel test, which wasn't too hard. Then came the 1-on-1 interviews with a bunch of people at the office, with a lunch break in between. We wrapped up interviews around 4 pm and I got an offer the same day. Overall, it was a good experience.

The interview started with a phone screen from the recruiter. However, we had technical issues, and they couldn't reach me at the scheduled time. I sent them an email, and they replied saying they tried to call with no answer, so I ended up calling them. They sounded pretty annoyed on the call, acting like I had wasted their time. Unsurprisingly, I didn't get to move forward.
