Applied on LinkedIn and a few weeks later, a recruiter set up a phone screen. After that, there were about three rounds of phone interviews and an Excel assignment, with weeks in between each. The alleged final interview was followed by another unexpected phone screen. I only got the results after over a month of silence from the recruiter and at least three reminder emails – I thought I was being ghosted and had already found another role. The whole recruitment process was very unprofessional, which is a shame for a company with such an important mission.

I had a phone screening with HR, then an interview with a middle manager, and finally an in-person interview with senior management or my hiring manager. It was more focused on fit and reasons for wanting to work for this specific company.

I submitted my resume on LinkedIn and then got an email to schedule a first 30-minute phone call. It was a mix of behavioral questions and a chance for them to talk about their culture and what they're looking for. The second phone call was weird; I just had to talk a bit about why I was interested in the role and then I got to ask questions for the rest of the time. The third interview was about 45 minutes and had similar questions to the earlier ones, plus they went over my resume.
