I sent in my application online via the cymer.com site. A hiring manager called me within a month, and that call was pretty much my phone interview, lasting about 30 minutes. During this chat, they went over the job details and asked me about troubleshooting systems. A few days later, an HR person reached out to schedule the rest of the interviews. The onsite part involved meeting with 4 people individually for about half an hour each, one of them being from HR. Both the technical and professional questions were pretty open-ended, but they really wanted to hear specifics about my engineering background.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I chatted with someone at the Career Fair and they reached out about a week later. Then there was a 30 min phone chat with three people about teamwork, cleanroom experience, and specific resume projects focusing on mechatronics and controls. Two days later, I was invited for an on-site interview. The on-site was from 8:15 AM to 2:30 PM. It included a 45min presentation on a topic of my choice, followed by four one-on-one interviews, and a lunch with an engineer. Questions covered both behavioral and technical aspects, including resume-based technical questions and some general job-specific knowledge. Still waiting to hear back!

I had two phone interviews that went well, and then after submitting my application, I met with several people for in-person interviews. Everyone was really friendly, and I felt at ease the entire time.
