So there were 2 rounds total. The first one was focused on core Java and Spring Boot concepts, including some practical Java class questions about OOPs, how Spring Security works internally, and a coding question using the Stream API. The second round involved developing an application to display bowling scores, and they gave me the rules in a PDF.

I had a Zoom interview with the manager and possibly a social worker. The questions were tough and probing. It's important to show common sense, initiative, and how you can use your past work and personal experiences to answer. Make sure to elaborate on your answers instead of giving brief responses. A positive and bubbly personality is key, and demonstrating empathy and compassion is essential for this role. I'm really looking forward to starting!

I had an interview with two psychologists, they split the questions between them. They were mindful of my interview anxiety and made an effort to make me feel more comfortable. They also tried to help me to do my best by asking guiding questions. At the end, I had the chance to go back over questions so I could add more detail. The interview was formal. They asked about eight questions in total. I interviewed over a year ago so I can't recall all of them, but I'll share the ones I remember!

Behavioral Technical

The recruiter called me quickly and offered an interview for the same day or the next, which was a bit rushed but I took it because the job sounded cool. After the interview, I got a design brief for a cover page, first page, and info page for their annual calendar. I also filled out a long form for the next part, with questions about my past jobs and some personal stuff. Sadly, after I sent in the design task, I heard nothing back, and my emails were ignored. I eventually had to call the recruiter to find out they'd gone with someone else. The total lack of communication was really unprofessional and makes me wonder about their company values and how they treat people's time. So, yeah, bad experience.
