Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CWI Software.
Test Analyst
It all started really fast. I saw the post on LinkedIn, sent my resume, and the recruiter contacted me minutes later to schedule an interview. This stage happened, and on the same day, she scheduled the technical interview. The technical part was also quite straightforward, with questions mainly about the day-to-day tasks of the role. The only issue is that after this, they sent it to the client and we never heard back from them again. I asked the recruiter several times, and she always said the client hadn't responded yet. Unfortunately, this becomes very frustrating for the candidate, as we don't know if we still have a chance or not.

The first stage with HR was very relaxed. It followed the standard format of analyzing the profile and experiences to check the candidate's fit for the role and company culture. The second stage, which was technical, was also conducted in a relaxed manner. I had the chance to share my experiences, and the technical questions were based on them, making the process more dynamic and relevant. The only downside was the HR's response after I declined the offer, which had an ironic and unprofessional tone.
- The HR questions followed the standard format of analyzing the profile and experiences.
- The technical questions were based on professional experience.
Infrastructure Analyst
I went through two selection processes at the company. In both, it was highly professional and transparent. In the first meeting, it was an HR interview, and in the second moment, the interview with the area manager and professionals. In the last one, the interview lasted about 1:30h, and although I really wanted it and liked the work environment, I was not selected for the position because they needed a professional with more experience. I recommend and continue wanting to be part of the team!
- Ranging from very technical questions to personal questions.
