It was a pretty chill interview. We started with a casual info session about the company. Then, I had a pretty standard interview where they asked me behavioral questions. After that, I got to ask them some questions. It was all done over the phone.

Behavioral Presentation

The way to get a job as a Cutco sales rep is pretty typical. You usually start with someone you know referring you, then you have a phone call interview, and after that, you do a one-on-one with the branch manager. The manager will talk about the company, the products, and what the job is like, and they'll ask you stuff about your goals, how hard you work, and if you're okay with selling things. If they like you, they offer you the job pretty fast and set you up for training so you can learn about the products and how to present them before you actually start.

Behavioral Group Presentation

The interview had two main parts. First, a manager will chat with you about your family background, if you're a student, your GPA, and where you go to school. If you make it past that, they'll go over the role expectations and pay. The manager will also explain the commission structure and give you some practice scenarios for dealing with customers. You'll likely be interviewed by one or two managers, and you'll be in a group with other candidates, so make sure you're ready to impress. Oh, and bring a notebook to take notes! Also, bring at least two copies of your resume because you might be meeting with several people. Good luck :)
