First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cushman & Wakefield.
Project Manager
It was a standard interview process that lasted about 30 minutes, and I spoke with the team director. We went over about 6 questions, beginning with some introductory questions and then moving on to more specific project management scenarios and experiences.
- Could you describe your previous responsibilities as a project manager?
- What experience do you have with data lakes, and which specific ones have you worked with in the past?
Senior Project Manager
We started with a phone interview to check my qualifications. Then, I had my first interview at the Boston Office. It went well, and I found the senior staff and office management to be approachable. This interview included questions about how I would approach various situations. The second interview built upon the first one, asking for specific examples of what I've done, behavioral questions, and a thorough review of my work history.
- All questions were in line with my expectations.
Project Manager
It felt more like a chat. They asked about 2-3 HR-type questions and then 8-10 basic technical ones. The HR person tried to shake my confidence a bit, but staying positive helped. The whole thing lasted about 25-30 minutes, which felt pretty long. They started with the HR questions and then moved on to the technical ones.
- What kind of project closeouts are there?
- Name the 5 phases of a project.
- Which code is used for architecture and layout?
