Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cushman & Wakefield.
Financial Analyst
We had one in-person interview where we talked about my resume, personality, and my experience and knowledge of the industry. There was also a financial modeling test.
- Can you explain how to calculate NOI?
- What is your understanding of the blended cost of capital?
Financial Analyst
The first interview was with HR. It went well, but I was rejected due to experience, which I didn't really understand. So, it wasn't a great experience for me.
- What motivates you to want to work at this company?
Financial Analyst
Applied online and got a call a week later for an in-person interview the next week. The office and people were nice. The head of the team was on vacation so I had to wait for him for the second interview. They really liked me and started the background check and offered a salary while waiting for the team head to return. They said they were doing things out of order to keep the process moving. I was impressed with their flexibility and knew they were interested. Had the final interview with the head of the department and he offered me the job on the spot.
- They asked a lot about how I would perform the job to ensure I was a good fit.
