I had a very positive experience during the interview process for Cushman. From the first contact, the recruiting team was professional and accessible, giving me clear information about each stage of the process. The initial interview was a fluid conversation, where I felt valued and heard, and the questions were well designed to assess both my technical skills and my personal values.

This was probably the worst interview experience I’ve ever had. HR was very professional during the phone screening, where they confirmed a lot of information and provided interview tips. Then came the 30-minute video interview. The hiring manager arrived late, didn't make eye contact, and seemed preoccupied. After my introduction, she immediately asked if I had any questions and told me I wasn’t a good fit, without asking about my prepared project experience. HR thought I was a strong match, and I tailored my introduction to the job requirements. It felt like a discriminatory reason for not hiring me.

It was a phone call for the first interview with the partner and a consultant from the team. They started with general questions about my background and studies, then asked more specific questions about the industry I was applying to. It felt really friendly and was more of a two-way conversation.
