Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cushman & Wakefield.
Associate
The interview process was fair and transparent. All interviews were conducted via Teams, with no in-person meetings. The interviewer was welcoming and provided good information about the role. It wasn't very formal, more of a casual chat, and there weren't any really tough questions.
- What are your career aspirations for the next three years?
Associate Director
It was a two stage interview process. The first interview was a casual one-to-one with the hiring manager where we discussed the role and they learned more about me. The second interview involved both the hiring manager and another Partner from the firm.
- Can you share an instance where a situation went awry, detailing your actions, the challenges that emerged, and your delegation strategies for resolution?
- Can you provide examples of your involvement in a team setting?
- Can you provide examples of your collaborative work within a team?
Transaction Services Associate
I applied online and a recruiter called me a few days later for a short phone interview. About a week after that, they emailed me for an in-person interview. I went in for an hour and met with four different people. The questions were general and they asked them really fast, right after I answered, so I didn't have much time to think between them. The interviewers seemed uninterested from the start, which made me uncomfortable. The managers seemed young and inexperienced with interviewing. It felt like they already had someone in mind before even interviewing new people. It wasn't a good experience, and I'm fine with not getting an offer.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
