First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Currys.
Sales Representative
It started with an initial phone call, then a standard interview where they asked about motivations. The second interview involved a role-playing scenario where I had to sell a television. After that, they asked motivational questions again, but it felt easier this time.
- What makes you want to join our company?
- Tell me about your motivations.
- Could you demonstrate selling a television through role-play?
Sales
The interview process was quite straightforward, involving a product demonstration. However, based on the company's culture where employee respect seems low and a demanding work environment with potential job insecurity is implied, it might not be a desirable place to work.
- Could you tell me about your favorite product?
Sales Assistant
It was a pretty standard interview process with typical sales assistant interview questions. They asked about a challenge I faced and how I handled it. After that, they asked a lot of follow-up questions about how I felt and what I thought about the whole situation.
- Tell me about a challenging situation you encountered and how you dealt with it.
- How did you feel about the challenge you faced?
- What were your thoughts and reflections on that particular challenge?
