They asked normal questions and tried to understand why I wanted that job. And asked about a fake scenario and asked me to sell something to that manager. It was easy and I did it.

Behavioral Case

So the interview at Currys was pretty structured, they used a lot of scenarios. First, they wanted to know about my past experience, especially in sales and helping customers. One main thing they asked was what I'd do if I wasn't hitting my sales goals. I told them I'd look for help from coworkers who are doing better, learn what they do, and try their methods to get my numbers up. They also gave me a situation with a customer and asked how I'd close a sale. My plan was to ask questions to figure out what the customer needed, then clearly explain the cool features and benefits of the product, and finally suggest extra stuff like warranties that could make their purchase even better and keep them happy. Basically, they wanted to see if I could solve problems, work with others, and focus on the customer when selling.

So, there were two interviews. First, after they saw my application, I had a phone call where they asked about my availability, like days and hours I can work. I mentioned I could do 20 hours or more any day. Then, for the second interview, I went to the Bedford store for a face-to-face meeting. The manager made me wait a bit, probably so I'd look around the store. They then asked for my thoughts on the store, like one thing I liked and one thing I didn't. There was also a situational question, which isn't too hard if you've worked in retail before. Mostly, it was general stuff like introductions, why I'm interested in this job, and what skills I bring.
