I interviewed in person and was told it would take 4-5 days to hear back. I reached out 4 days later and HR told me they had emailed me the same day as my interview stating they weren’t moving forward (I never received this email, but did get one on Monday from an interviewer saying she was looking forward to discussing with the team). It seems there's no communication between interviewers, which aligns with other reviews I've read. Even the driver from the office to the airport mentioned how many people he drove for the same job. They should stop wasting money on in-person interviews if a decision has already been made. It's a waste of candidate time and money. I don't mind not being selected, but the way it was handled is upsetting. I wasted a personal day for this!

The HR Manager was prompt and communicative throughout the entire process. Throughout the 4 interviews, everyone I met was very professional and down-to-earth. They were truly interested in learning about your experiences and skills, answered your questions, and the interviewers were skilled in making the interview sound more like a natural-flowing conversation. Some tips for the job application process? Polish your resume to reflect the job you are aiming for, using the transferrable skills you have to align with the job description. Research the company and ensure that you align with their values and mission. I think this will come up naturally in the discussion if you do! Practice internalizing and reflecting on possible interview questions.

So Curriculum Associates has a pretty long interview process. It took me about 2 months and I talked to 6 different people in total 7 interviews. Started with a 30 minute screening with the person I'd report to, they rated me on a 0-4 scale. Then I had another 30 minute phone interview with the head of the department. After that, they flew me out to MA for 4 interviews all in one morning. I met with an executive, an account manager, and 2 other people from the department. Then I got the offer and had a Skype interview with the CEO, which is standard for everyone they hire. It was a lot, but it showed me they really want to hire the right people, not just for the job but for the company culture too. After some negotiation, I accepted the offer.
