First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Currencycloud.
Software Engineer
It was a multi-stage process involving an initial screen, followed by motivational and technical interviews. There were also system design and behavioural/culture fit stages towards the end. I talked to a lot of different people. The technical part wasn't too hard, mostly easy to medium LeetCode style algorithm problems where I had to explain my thought process.
- Did you ever have a mentor?
Software Engineer
So I had this screening call, it lasted about 45 minutes. Then, there was a gap before HR got back to me. After that, I went through two coding rounds, one system design round, and a final behavioral interview. I felt pretty good about the coding and problem-solving parts, but the system design round was just okay. Even though I made it all the way to the last behavioral stage, they ended up hiring someone else. I'm not sure their feedback was totally accurate, felt more like an excuse, so it wasn't very useful.
- Describe how you would handle a production issue.
Senior Software Developer
The whole thing took a couple weeks, involving two phone calls before meeting in person. They were looking for a specific skillset, and that kind of got lost in the conversation, but for the most part, they were receptive.
- Can you introduce yourself?
