Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Curinos.
Consultant
The interview process was quick and efficient, starting with a screening, followed by a task, and concluding with a final meeting where I presented my findings to the team. I received the offer shortly after.
- Analyze and present a case study.
Consultant
The interview process involved a lot of brain teasers and a consulting business decomposition question. It was generally pretty easy. I prepared by reading up on market sizing and standard brainteaser questions online. The people I met were generally nice. Overall, it was a decent experience.
- What motivates you to pursue a career in consulting?
Consultant
There were 2 rounds of interviews. The first round had 2 interviews, and the second round had 3 interviews. These interviews involved brainteasers and mini cases, specifically in the pharma and financial services sectors. The final round typically involves interaction with managers and more senior consultants. I'm not sure if the case book brainteasers, which many people are already familiar with (like 100 Tigers 1 Sheep, Halftime calculations), are the best way to measure what they're looking for.
- Can you solve some basic brainteasers?
- Can you solve a number sequence brainteaser?
- Can you solve this financial services case, which I found difficult to grasp?
