Behavioral Technical Other

I applied via email and then had my first round interview, which was a meeting with the station sales director and a personality test. The second round involved a sales role play with the GSM and Market Manager and a full shadow day with the station sales staff. Then, a third round occurred, which was a phone call from corporate in Atlanta.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

I applied online and the sales manager contacted me right away. My first interview included some questions and an aptitude test. It went well and I was asked back. The second interview felt more like a long chat where the manager talked a lot about himself and his successes. I also took another aptitude test and a personality test, and answered some more questions. He said I was doing great and would be very successful. We scheduled a final interview to spend a day with other sales reps, give a hypothetical selling presentation, and see what a day in the life is like. That also went well; everyone was nice and I was prepared for my presentation. The sales manager said it was the best he'd seen and asked to keep my slides. At the end of the day, he told me I did great, we discussed salary and benefits, and he offered me the job, telling me to start in two weeks, pending a 'brief conversation' with corporate in Atlanta. I called the corporate office, and this 'brief conversation' turned into a 1.5-hour grilling with every question imaginable. It was tiring, but I thought I did well. It's been three weeks since then and I haven't heard anything. The whole process felt unprofessional, especially the lack of follow-up. The manager seemed bored. Overall, the interviews were easy but unprofessional.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied for this job online, then I called the Sales Manager and left her a voice message and an email to follow up. She emailed me some more paperwork and asked some questions, then she set up a face-to-face interview. She was really professional and asked some challenging questions. Then, she talked about her job and what she expects, and explained the pay, and stuff.
