Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cumming Group.
Project Manager
It was a three step interview process. Initially, there was a phone screening. This was followed by an interview with a senior VP. After the second interview, I was presented with a conditional offer, contingent on a third interview with the client I would be working with. The final interview unfortunately did not take place, which I was told was due to the client. Even though I received an offer that didn't materialize, I'd say the experience was positive overall. Their hiring process was organized and they communicated well.
- Can you tell me about yourself and your background?
Project Manager
Had an initial chat with the recruiter/HR person to talk about the job and what they pay. Then I talked with the Senior Manager and director about my past jobs and to get more info on the role. All the interviews were on the phone/video, and everyone was super nice.
- Can you tell me about your past work experience?
- How do you collaborate with your teammates?
Project Manager
The HR rep called me about an hour later than we scheduled. After only :10 on the call, she really pushed to know if I would take a specific salary, which was less than what I was looking for. I told her I couldn't say for sure without more info, and then she just ended the call.
- The salary ceiling for this role is "x". Would you accept it?
