Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cumberland Farms.
Customer Service Associate
I sent in my application online. Then, I got a phone call from the HR team. During the call, the HR person told me about the job and asked me some questions. After that, I had an interview with an HR person at the store where I'm currently employed. Then, I interviewed with my present manager. They then made me a job offer, which I accepted.
- Tell me about your interpersonal skills.
- What previous jobs have you had?
- What is your availability?
Customer Service Representative
Shortly after applying online (a couple days to a week), you will receive a phone call to set up a phone interview time. During your phone interview, (which takes roughly 30 minutes), you will be asked a multiple of questions. Such as how do you fit into this company, what can you bring to them as a worker, previous employer, and reasons for leaving, job description, how you work overall, etc. If they find you as a fit for the company, you will then have an interview with the manager of the store, and he or she will go over all the different aspects of your job.
- What will you contribute to the company as an employee?
Customer Service Associate
The interview experience was good. The interviewer warned me about the location. I really needed the job, so I told him I didn't care. I was desperate for money. It turns out the place was a headache, and I should have applied to other places while I was working there. It was so horrid.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
