First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cumberland Consulting Group.
Office Administrator
The interview process was very professional and the team was polite. They asked good questions and made me feel comfortable, seeming genuinely interested in what I was saying. From the moment I walked in, everyone I met was friendly. The front desk staff knew I was coming and walked me to the conference room.
- In what ways do you believe your skills can be most beneficial to our company?
Operations Analyst
I applied for the contracting analyst position and was contacted by the recruiting manager. We had an informal interview and she set up an in house interview time for the following day. I was waiting to be sent the information for the location and never received it. I later receive an email informing me that they decided to move forward with other candidates. Not even a phone call.
- What value would you bring to the organization?
Consultant
The office culture is very much work hard, play hard. If you choose to, you can be going out every night if your project team is good. I applied online and received a call for a phone interview from a partner (they've recently started using ECs and Principals for this with the company's growth). Then, a single-day interview was scheduled where I met each of the partners for 15-30 minutes each. They asked different questions concerning why I wanted to get into the industry, etc. Pretty standard questions. I got offered the job the same day.
- What draws you to the healthcare sector?
- What are your reasons for wanting to join Cumberland?
Support Analyst
The interview process involved multiple managers asking questions but not providing answers. I heard from former employees that the turnover rate is very high. They asked basic questions about customer support and the willingness to work extra hours and weekends.
- How would you handle a sudden change in your work schedule?
- What is your flexibility regarding working extra hours or on weekends?
