It was pretty chill. I met the hiring manager at a Starbucks and they hit me with a couple of basic questions using the STAR method. Heard back within a couple weeks with a job offer.

I applied online and got an in-person interview. They seemed interested but had concerns about my piercings and tattoos, even though I offered to wear retainers. They mentioned not wanting employees to feel they needed to wear masks, which is part of having a job. They said they'd call me back regardless, but I never got a call, even after I followed up myself.

Behavioral Technical

Applying was simple, I got a text to set up the interview. I arrived and was given a drink while waiting less than 5 minutes for the manager. They asked about my past work in food service, when I can work, and what pay I'm looking for. They also described the company and how the team is structured, which was all positive. It felt like a real conversation and a company that cares about its people, with no tough or strange questions. They also pointed out chances for advancement.
