Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CT Business Consulting.
Marketing
The process was super quick and they spent most of the time telling me about the company instead of figuring out if I was a good fit. The actual job description was also kinda vague.
- What are the qualities you seek in a company?
Marketing Assistant
It was a 3 part interview process. The first interview was with one person who explained the job responsibilities and explained the process. The second part of the interview was a shadow day where interviewees were able to observe a team member during the full work day. Due to a training session within the company, the second part of the interview was slightly changed and instead of shadowing someone within the company, the interviewees met the team and then had a meeting with the president of the company who explained (in great detail) the job and its responsibilities as well as answering all of our questions. The third part of the interview process was a meeting with the president where any lingering questions were answered.
- Would you be open to traveling for conferences and training?
Marketing Assistant
The interviewers were really nice and kept me engaged with good questions. It wasn't a high-pressure situation, and they made me feel comfortable, so I wasn't nervous once we started talking.
- Can you tell me three words that describe you?
