Customer Service Specialist
A recruiter called me for a phone interview. During the call, they mentioned I might be a better fit for another role, which I thought was cool they were trying to match applicants. Then, I got sent two online tests and scheduled for an in-person interview that Friday afternoon. The Friday interview time felt a bit off, and honestly, the two in-person interviews that day were kinda awkward. The interviewers didn't seem super engaged and asked the exact same questions from the phone interview, which was a first. It felt strange, why bring me in just to repeat the phone interview? I already figured I wouldn't get an offer by the end.

Customer Service Representative
I was contacted by HR about a day after applying online and we set up an initial phone interview. It lasted about 30 minutes and they mainly went over my resume. After that, I had a second phone interview with a different HR person. Once that was done, I was asked to come in for some 1:1 interviews over two days. I met with 2 HR people, 3 team leaders, and 2 VPs. I also spent time with 3 employees watching them work and asking questions. Meeting the team leaders and seeing different work areas helped us both figure out the best fit. It was a really nice experience and I got a good feel for the company culture. I had to take some timed tests, like a skill profiler, basic math, grammar/vocab, and a writing test. They also did a background check, contacting my references and employers. The initial HR person kept me updated throughout the process. It felt like a lot, but by the end, I was confident it was a good fit.
- Since you're currently employed, can you tell me why you're seeking a new opportunity?
- Describe what you believe to be your biggest professional error.
Customer Service Specialist
I had a phone call and then an in-person interview. I met with different team leaders. I made sure I really understood what they were looking for by reading the job description again. They asked me about how I work with others, my relationships with people, my management approach, and if I can work in different kinds of environments.
- Regarding your weaknesses, what do you consider your greatest one?
