Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CSC.
Analyst
It's a multi stage process. It was fun and relaxed. You have to do a project to show your key competencies. The process is slow, so plan for it but it's worth it. It would be good if they could speed up the process though.
- What motivated you to apply for this role?
Analyst
Met with two team leaders from the Billing & licensing and Annual Reports departments who had openings. They were polite and direct, with each meeting lasting about 30 minutes. Also had a ~20-minute chat with an employee currently in one of the roles I applied for, which was appreciated.
- Can you describe a situation where you went above and beyond for a customer?
- Share an instance where you had to effectively organize yourself.
- What would be the first three chapters of a book you'd write about customer service?
Analyst
The company was not friendly about visa sponsorship, even though I mentioned it when applying. The interviewer asked me a lot, but once I said I would use an OPT, they hung up.
- Can you walk me through your resume and discuss your past experiences?
