The process started with a recruiter phone screen. Then, there was a panel interview with three interviewers, where two other candidates were also interviewing at the same time. Each interviewer spoke with us for about 30 minutes. It was mostly behavioral questions, but they did ask for input on a case study. It's a good idea to review the attached potential interview questions, as they were quite similar to the ones I was asked.

First, a recruiter reached out for a quick phone screen. She asked some general questions about my resume and set up a phone interview. That call was about 15-20 minutes. A few days later, I had the phone interview with the manager. They asked about my previous job experience and the skills on my resume. They also asked about my actuarial exam progress. I got to ask them questions too. The call was 30 minutes. Less than two days later, the recruiter called and wanted to set up an onsite interview for the next week. The onsite involved 4-5 separate 30-minute interviews with actuaries from different teams and management levels. Most of the questions were about my past experiences and asking me to broadly justify the skills and statements on my resume. After the interviews, I had lunch with an actuary and then went home. I didn't hear back for a while, which felt long, and I thought I didn't get the job. Everyone I met was great. One person asked questions fast and didn't let me finish answering, but that was probably just their interviewing style; they seemed nice when I asked questions. Overall, I was really impressed with the people at AAA, especially compared to other interviews. They seemed like honest, straightforward, nice people.

So, first there was this prescreening interview, like 20 minutes long. Then, I had one interview with the hiring manager. After that, we had this teams interview, kind of like musical chairs with other candidates and three interviewers. Each interview was 30 minutes. They mostly asked robotic behavioral questions, like trying to catch you acting poorly, and one easy technical question. It was pretty awkward.
