Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crunch Fitness.
Sales Associate
It was a very easy and laid-back interview process. They asked about my past jobs and strengths. It seems like it will be a great place to work and will work out well in the near future.
- Could you tell me about some of your previous job experiences?
Sales Associate
Applied online and two weeks later got an email for a personality and math assessment. I emailed the manager back once I finished but didn't hear anything. Two weeks after that, the manager called to schedule an interview for the following week. The interview itself went really well and the manager seemed enthusiastic. However, they required social media experience to drive sales, which I wasn't comfortable with, and the pay was minimum wage. I didn't think that was fair compensation for a front desk role that involved calls, customer service, and social media content creation. I did get a callback from the general manager for a second interview, but I declined it.
- Can you share your experience with social media?
- Tell me a bit about yourself and your interest in Crunch Fitness.
- What sparked your interest in this particular role?
Sales Associate
It was 2 interviews total. One group interview and one individual one. They were hyper aggressive sales. They don't care about your work history as much as your mindset and capacity for sales. You gotta be the gym "Mayor" and be willing to socialize daily with members.
- Why did you decide to join Crunch Fitness?
