Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Crumbs Bake Shop.
Sales Associate
The interview process was pretty chill and enjoyable. I chatted with the shop manager, and it all went down right there in the bake shop. It was a bit noisy with customers and other staff around, which made it a little hard to focus sometimes.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- How do you see yourself?
Sales Associate
I was in a group interview at a public space. It felt formal but also casual and comfortable. The interviewer was really nice, friendly, and super excited about us opening the new location. She asked stuff about what I like to do, if I had any experience in retail or cooking, what my dreams were, and how I saw myself growing with the company.
- What makes you want to work at this bake shop?
- Tell me about your personal interests.
- What experience do you have in retail or culinary fields?
Sales Associate
It was quick and fast. First, there was a group interview where you had to be fun and energetic. Then, a second interview with the district manager in charge of the area that you wanted to work in. The interview with the DM was a bit hectic as she was taking calls and fixing a laptop at the same time.
- How would you handle a coworker you don't get along with?
