The interview process was pretty standard. They mentioned sending a homework assignment for the next stage, but then I got a rejection email without ever getting the assignment. It was disappointing and felt misleading because of the lack of follow-through. Honestly, it was very unprofessional behavior, but I'm glad things worked out.

The interview process started with a phone screen where they asked basic questions about my experience and what the company does. The first interview involved meeting with several managers and completing a logic test. The test was challenging but manageable, focusing on using Excel to determine the number of people in a dataset under various conditions. The second interview consisted of a marketing case study and a presentation. It was a fairly casual process overall, though the tests and presentation were rigorous. It seemed reasonable for a small company that wants to ensure a good fit.

I interviewed at Crossix Inc. from March 2018 till April 2018. I got rejected in June. 1st round went pretty good with HR. The next round happened with the hiring manager. Both were phone interviews. Both went amazing and I was called for an on-site interview in Mid April, 2018. I met with 4 people ranging from team member to Director. The interview went amazing and I was told I would hear back soon. I followed up after 2 weeks and was informed by HR that I am still in the process and they are working on final steps. End of May I get a mail from HR saying a new hiring manager would be speaking with you over the phone. Manager gets hired on Monday and takes my interview on Tuesday. He asked all questions which were irrelevant to the position just to be sure that he can reject me. He apologizes in the end for being hard on me and tells me I was 99% after my final round. After 2 days I get a reject from HR saying they moved with other candidate. Making the decision on the call which had irrelevant questions I think was really unfair for me. This kind of unprofessional-ism is something i would not appreciate. I thought may be I deserved a fair chance over here. I hope CEO reads this.

So, like, a recruiter hit me up in January. First, I had a phone call with a Data Engineer where they asked about my current job and duties. Then, I was immediately called onsite. There was this odd written test about flowcharts and stuff. Round 2 was with two engineers who seemed to ask the same things over and over. Round 3 was with the Product Manager, and Round 4 was just an office tour with the manager. It took them THREE weeks after the onsite to send a generic rejection email through the recruiter, and during that time, the feedback went from 'they liked you' to 'it looks positive' to 'they're actually looking for someone more senior.'

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you describe flowcharts?
