First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Cronos.
Consultant
Had four consecutive chats with different people. Each chat was a pleasant conversation lasting about 45-50 minutes. Afterwards, an offer was extended. The conversations didn't involve tough questions, just questions about my interests and also an explanation of the group from their side.
- Can you introduce yourself and outline your career goals?
Architect
First contact was via email, then I came in person for further discussion. I got the impression they hire everyone and don't really probe, which makes me doubt if it's a serious company.
- Why do you want to leave your current employer
Data Analyst
We had an online video call to get acquainted. Then I was asked to prepare a case study which I had to present and discuss a week later during a face-to-face meeting at the office. They gave me immediate (constructive) feedback. They asked about my experience and projects, and they immediately explained the position, the expected profile, and potential projects on the spot. There were a few more phone calls and then a concrete offer.
- Prepare a case study using a dataset and present your findings.
Internship
this is an internship, so the process wasn't super detailed: first a meeting with the supervisor, then a second meeting with the supervisor to discuss the content and expectations more deeply, and finally sorting out the admin stuff for the university.
- Motivation for your studies?
- Language skills?
- How did you end up here?
