The interview process was a three day assessment centre. The first day was fairly simple, you arrive, settle into the hotel and then in the evening, have dinner and drinks with graduates that are already on the scheme. Day two of the assessment centre had a a technical test, basic grammar and punctuation, logic based reasoning test. The end of the day was followed by dinner and drinks with managers currently employed by Croda. The third and final day, there was formal interview, group exercise and presentation test. This was followed by a tour of one of the manufacturing facilities.

The application process spanned two days and involved several assessments. We were tested on our writing and numerical literacy, our ability to interpret data, and our time management skills. There were also activities focused on teamwork, presentation, and creative problem-solving. The process concluded with two interviews: a personal interview covering my background and a technical interview.

I got recruited through a campus event and was then invited to go onsite. I had 2 1:1 interviews with HR people. They asked standard questions. I thought the whole process was very unorganized, like I had to ask for an expense report and there was no interview schedule or any real idea what the day would consist of.
