The interview process was way too long for such a simple position. The hiring manager was extremely rude, rolling his eyes so hard it looked like they would fall back whenever I answered a question. There was no response to my follow-up and no call when they moved onto the hiring process. A simple automated email saying you moved onto the hiring process would suffice.

The first step was a brief phone call with the store manager to check my availability and confirm I had a car. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview with the store manager. They really liked it if you wore their products to the interview and encouraged being yourself and showing your personality. They value a bubbly, happy atmosphere and can spot insincerity. A few days later, the district manager contacted me for a more serious interview. He discussed the company's values and how I might fit in, exploring potential roles. I was truthful about my past job experiences, making sure not to speak negatively about previous employers. I expressed my interest in the company and the position, and he indicated he liked me too. He suggested being straightforward and trying to get clear answers, as they appreciate that.

I went into the store and introduced myself to the manager. I asked if they had any job openings and he said "maybe, come back next Tuesday". When I came back, he asked me about my customer service experience and why I wanted to work there. After chatting with him for a short time, he gave me some paper work to fill out and asked me for personal information in order to complete a background check. The interview process was overall, very easy going and easy.
