The interview process was long, unorganized, and not professional at all. The recruiter was a gaslighter with memory issues, and the hiring manager was nice but gave mixed signals and was also unresponsive. The main interview was a long day with no breaks, except for some 1-on-1 chats that didn't happen. They just kept talking about how well-funded they are. I was ghosted after the presentation. Eventually, after a lot of pushing, they told me the job posting changed or was withdrawn, and they contacted my references. The whole thing took months and was very maddening. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't get an offer because I wouldn't want to work with such an unaccountable group.

I applied for a senior scientist role and first talked to the hiring manager and recruiter. Then, an interview was set up where I met the team. I got really good feedback, but they ended up offering me a lower-level position, even though the job was advertised as senior scientist. They also seemed to expect like 8+ years of experience for the senior scientist role, which is way more than what's typical in the industry.

The interview process was straightforward and easy, with no special steps. I spoke with 5 people in total, and the whole thing moved pretty fast. The interviewers were really open and seemed excited about the company.
