Intern
The recruiter I spoke with on the phone was really rude when I asked her questions, like about how many hours I'd be working. She asked me a question back instead of answering me directly, which I really didn't like. She was just really snappy and condescending, and I can't respect that at all. It left a bad first impression of the company.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working with us?
- What are your expectations regarding working hours?
Intern
I applied online and then had to do a creative aptitude test for art direction and design. The test had several parts: answering questions, designing print ads, analyzing a print ad, creating a brand identity, making a social media post mock-up, coming up with an app idea, designing a t-shirt, and doodling. After sending that in, I had a phone interview, and they offered me the job about a month later.
- What would be your dream client?
Intern
I only had a phone interview in October, which they said was the final step to determining whether or not you got an internship offer, but then I didn't hear back from them (a general rejection letter) until right before New Year's, three weeks after they said that they'd get back to me with a final decision.
- What would be your alternative career choice if you had to pick one?
